I don't care for the native applications but will install my favorites like Thunderbird, Firefox...  So far it seems to perform better than Ubuntu and has really nice eye-candy. If I can resolve some WiFi issues, I might test Kubuntu on the laptop also. I'm still a newbie when it comes to Linux but really like the the stability and performance.
