		<description>Very good article, I was having problems with the Com Surrogate error as well. I updated Nero to ver 8 and Divx to its latest 6.X ver and still had the problem, I found it to be the Avi Codec pack Ver 3.2 causing the Com Sur error. uninstalled that and the error has disappeared.... but alas I&#039;m unable to view .avi files now until someone repairs the Avi codec to be compatible with Vista!
